Susannah C. Drake, AIA, FASLA

Susannah Drake is the founding principal of DLANDstudio Architecture and Landscape Architecture. The firm, winner of the 2014 AIA New Practices New York Award, is the recipient of City, State, and National AIA and ASLA Awards for their work. Susannah is a leader in resilient urban design and has dedicated much of her practice to developing and implementing design strategies to confront the impacts of climate change and has received grants and awards for storm water capture, climate resilience, and park creation. DLANDstudio’s projects include QueensWay, MoMA Rising Currents exhibit, BQGreen, and Gowanus Sponge Park.

 

Michael G. Middleton Sr.

Michael Middleton is Executive Director of the Cherry Hill Development Corporation. He is a graduate of the University of Maryland School of Law. He also serves as Chairman of the Cherry Hill Community Coalition, an umbrella organization for groups and individuals residing in the Cherry Hill community. He is also Chairman of the Board of Directors of South Baltimore 7 (SB7), a coalition of six communities surrounding the Port Covington development.

 

 

Reginald Moore

Reginald Moore currently serves as the executive director of Baltimore City Recreation & Parks. As the leader of the agency, Moore oversees Baltimore City’s 43 recreation centers, 262 parks, 170 athletic fields, 120 playground, 110 tennis courts, 101 basketball courts, 21 public swimming pools, 25+ miles of hiking and biking trails and ten special facilities. He also manages 700 full-time, part-time, and seasonal staff through 12 divisions within the agency. His mission is to build and stronger and healthier Baltimore one community at a time through social equity, health and wellness, and conservation. A native Georgian, Director Moore holds over 20 years of experience in the parks and recreation industry. Reginald, his wife Johnette, and their three children have resided in the Mt. Washington neighborhood of Baltimore City since his appointment in 2017.

 

Kate Orff

Kate Orff is the founder of SCAPE, an award-winning studio based in New York and New Orleans. She was born in Maryland and developed her love of shoals and wetlands along the shores of the Severn River. Kate is also an Associate Professor at Columbia University and the Director of the Urban Design Program.  In 2017, Kate was named a MacArthur Fellow.

 

 

Geoffrey W. Washington

Geoffrey W. Washington is a Member of the law firm of Adelberg Rudow, where he practices within the firm’s Litigation Group. A graduate of Georgetown University and the University of Maryland Carey School of Law, Mr. Washington’s practice serves businesses and high net worth individuals in all phases of litigation in the State and Federal Courts. Mr. Washington represents clients in business and commercial disputes, including fiduciary and Estates & Trusts litigation, intellectual property/trade secret litigation, shareholder/partner disputes, employment claims, unfair competition claims, and the defense of wrongful death/personal injury claims.

A longtime South Baltimore resident, Mr. Washington is the Chairman of the Board of the South Baltimore Gateway Partnership and formerly chaired the Board of Municipal and Zoning Appeals of Baltimore City for eight years.
